We purchased this fan to cool down our kitchen as it heats up when several appliances are on at the same time. We mounted it up high on the wall as it comes with a wonderful remote control. The high setting is awesome and I love the setting "wind" as it mimics a breeze blowing through your house. Love the fan and the remote control!
